Job Description

The Senior Marketing Sepcialist will be directly responsible for Marketing and Program Management activities/initiatives as related and in support to i-Open Technologies and its subsidiaries: Including web development, direct and indirect marketing campaigns, online marketing and PR, manage and maintain internal CRM, customer service programs and logistics.

As an experienced marketing manager, you will apply your past research and online lead generation knowledge to participate in the development of new business objectives. This role requires collaboration with Executives, Operation Managers, Sales Management, 3rd party Technology Providers and Customer Support. As a key and integral role, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing an effective team and growing resources within the department as required by company growth and plans.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Working directly under the supervision of the GM, develop an effective direct and indirect Marketing “go to market” plan for the company and its technology solutions
  • Execute targeted online marketing programs and manage and report marketing ROI metrics and input into the internal CRM
  • Participate and produce content for newsletters and email campaigns and manage social media requirements
  • Produce newsletters, articles and targeted media campaigns manage ongoing processes and tasks associated with SEO and ad-word strategies – drive daily online media analysis, activities and design on every facet of online marketing campaigns
  • Manage logistics as related to promotional activities and vendor interface, estimates and relationships
  • Support and maintain collateral including web site, hard copy and print media
  • Assist in the development of a comprehensive schedule, definition, gathering customer feedback
  • Develop and maintain effective community pages, post blogs and host webinars
  • Support sales team as related to sales activities and coordinate outward bound sales campaigns, telemarketing projects and print advertising
  • Coordinate and develop an effective event management schedule and execution plan
  • Support partner and channel marketing activities for strategic and alliance partners
  • Conduct market research and competitive product research analysis, and track the formulated matrixes
  • Participate and deliver support to business development staff with respect to customer service and customer feedback
  • Manage vendor relationships and overall marketing department purchasing and logistics

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong online marketing and campaign generation skills
  • BA/BS or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in technology product or services environment
  • Strong knowledge of business applications
  • Technical knowledge of applications, CRM and databases ERP solutions is desirable
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills (technical writing skills preferred)
  • Strong inter-personal skills with a desire and ability to manage cross functional teams
  • Reasonable research skills
  • Proficient in graphic design and brand management
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

Additional Details

Location: This role will work from our offices in Abbotsford, B.C. There is no expected work-related travel, unless specified by management.

Work Arrangement: Full-Time, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm
